usually you watch old NYC movies and think "damn it was grimey in the 70s", but watching shit from 2004 its like "oh yeah new york was much nicer back then". also if you order shrimp from chinese takeout its over.

Very impressed. Karales really has a unique style especially with the editing/interstitial stuff. Very fast paced, not a meandering indie film that lingers on shots for 5 mins to pad for time. Lots of style while still capturing how dank and depressing NYC and Boston are.
