  My ex girlfriend review of this movie was "aggressively mexican". I laugh at this even right now, with my heart still bleeding from the (recent) breakup.

  That being said, I agree. Yeah, they f*cked up in post-production in a way that seems quasi intentional, and even so, they couldn't take away the strike-to-the-core hit (for me, a venezuelan person) and almost magic realism away from the story.
