  If someone called me dull I would also spiral. This film was delightfully funny and profoundly sad. I thought McDonagh did a great job at portraying the ways in which isolation and loneliness can cause a person to become bitter and lose their sense of self. Watching Colin Farrell’s character struggle pulled at my heart strings and transformed me back to middle school sitting at the end of the lunch table looking in. I also can’t help but agree that all men are dull.
