The Apartment 1960
I loved how animated the expressions are in the characters in the first act. I wanted to like this, partly because it’s one of Lynch’s favorites. But come on, the schmuck who loans out his place, the scumbag execs who could’ve gotten a hotel, the damsel “poor me” girl, etc. I don’t care. The last hour is a drag. I understand this is influential, but as a whole, this is an overrated “classic”. Sorry, I don’t get it
