Maybe I’m crazy (considering the scores) but this was EXACTLY what I was hoping for. A masterful introduction highlighting the journeys of multiple groups of people, all with their own struggles, that will eventually converge later in the series. That’s what I figured this would be.

Unsettling more than scary but for once a film lived up to the fucking hype.
It’ll comfortably sit next to Hereditary, The House that Jack Built, The Poughkeepsie Tapes, and Philosophy of a Knife as the films that I love but make me feel physically ill.
