Absolute dogshit. A movie about a historical protest as explained by someone who doesn’t understand history and clearly made zero effort to think critically about what the actual implications of this trial were. This movie has precisely one redeeming quality which is Sacha Baron Cohen failing miserably to be even slightly believable as Abbie Hoffman and accidentally morphing into Howard Stern several times. Absolute banger from top 2 bottom. Great killer, signature weapon, black leather giallo gloves, beautiful outdoor lighting choices, vintage style boobs, summer camp antics, george costanza, Rick Wakeman from Yes freaked the synth soundtrack, the screen turns red a bunch of times. Not sure why that kid was sleeping with several gallons of gasoline next to his bed at all times but hey, that’s none of my business.
