The Bad Shepherd 2024
The acting wasn’t terrible and this had a great thing going… until it didn’t. I wanted a gritty, taught thriller but this unraveled into not being fun.

Y’all are crazy… this was neat. The trailer did not do this any justice.
Sure it was slow… sure the cgi was uneven…
THIS is Hellboy.
Not Del Toro, not the reboot… you guys unfortunately were given fake Hellboys first…
THIS is the graphic novel… slow folk horror story telling. THIS is where Hellboy should live.
Obviously it could be better (like any movie) by just making his eyes solid yellow but oh well.
(Also… the Crooked Man is called that also because he’s shady. You folks really don’t know Hellboy and it hurts me)

Dream Scenario 2023
Much better than I anticipated.
If you’re going to make a Twilight Zone or Black Mirror episode into a movie… this would be the one.
Acting from Nicolas Cage was actually NOT weird which was kind of weird but welcome.The ending was actually rather lovely and makes you think about what you have. Pleasant surprise.
