The Celebration 1998
Immediately i was caught by the way it was filmed. The camera was moving in a way it would portray the feelings of the protagonist.
The story unfolds in such a shocking and junior way even though the plot is quite disturbing. Really brilliantly done. Also found it interesting how danish culture is shown. Every culture would have their own traditions and (micro) responses to situations and that is an added layer.
Also how the characters evoke different emotions is done well.Translated from by -
The Lighthouse 2019
I found interesting that sometimes it was quite unclear what was really happening. What was delirium and what was reality. The drunk scenes were really good and brought some humor to the film in the same way it brought relief to the men in the lighthouse.
