it’s a great time to be a DC fan…
i’m nowhere near as well versed in marvel comics or the MCU as i should be. however, i feel as if my ignorance shielded me from this movie’s inadequacy and didn’t make me too mad. the list of pros are short, but they do pack a decent punch:
- the fight choreo was on point, especially Anthony Mackie’s creativity with the wings. i liked it, Picasso.

3 stars is solely for ewan mctenor’s range being USED AND ABUSED every single song. i still don’t know what i watched. its been 12 hours and im still feeling the residual effects of my brain becoming the consistency or applesauce. nicole kidman’s ribs must’ve been shot from how tight they were tying her corsets too. i should prob watch again but i don’t think i have the strength or mental fortitude to rewatch it any time soon. i feel like i need a psychiatrist, a priest, and 30 tabs of acid (in no particular order) to fully recover.
