  Great debut for Sarnoski. This is what happens when Nikki Cage takes acting seriously. Great performance from him and the kid. Subverts expectations. A good twist on the rescue movie.  Hell of a debut, looking forward to what he does next.

  Well made movie with a good tone. Soundtrack and grain really put you in a time. Blaxploitation for the new era will always have a place in my heart. What holds this back is the occasional corniness and plot holes that appear if you think too hard. Worth a watch though.
