Probably Demy's most "mature" movie, at least at the surface level. All of Demy's movies have mature stories under their bright colors, but Une Chambre en Ville is less secretive about its nature. The tone and look are of a tragedy, and the music swells as the emotions rise frequently throughout the film.

George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road is a masterpiece of visual poetry, with artfully constructed coherent action, stories and character shown through actors at the top of their game, and gorgeous shots full of color, life, and glory.
