Inglourious Basterds 2009
Im biased. Tarantino is my favorite director and the one responsible for making me care about movies thanks to my Kill Bill obsession. That being said, movie is fucking great. I can’t complain about nazis getting massacred in various inhumane ways and Hitler getting his face turned into fucking hamburger meat. The lesson we can take away? Nazi’s ain’t got no humanity.

Kinds of Kindness 2024
The first story earns this movie the one star I’m giving it in my opinion. The second story was not fleshed out enough for me to get into but the concept was kind of cool, the way that story ended really didn’t come together for me. The 3rd so boring I didn’t care to finish the movie. I feel like this director is a sex freak.

Cuckoo 2024
I feel like horror this year has showcased some amazing and thoughtful sound design. Definitely this movies strong suit along with some nice visuals, and a stunning setting. This movie’s tone, plot, and identity feels all over the place. While I was kind of interested in seeing what was going on I didn’t really care. The characters themselves seemed bored aside up until the last leg of the movie.
