The Substance 2024
Cannot put into words just how much I loved and adored this movie. Two extremely talented women staring acting their fucking hearts out in a bloody body horror gore fest. I can’t think of anything I’d love more actually. I loved the effects, the gore, the message, the characters, the real life references, practically everything. The ending was a bit drawn out and that might cut back on my rewatches of the movie, I do believe it could be maybe have had the ending trimmed down a little bit, but other then that, for me personally, complete perfection.

Hated it actually, thanks! Guess I’m glad I saw it to see the impacts it’s had on other films. There are times when I can understand sa/rape being important to a plotline but this just isnt one of them for me. After how horrible and nauseating he was, I thought “god atleast this guy is gonna fucking die!” but then he dreams practically come true by being put into a position where he’ll receive nothing but the highest care and attention!

Pretty memorable, probably wouldn’t rewatch but Sydney Sweeney did absolutely amazing. Acted her heart out, I cried during the entire last scene.
