  First time seeing this on the big screen. California Theater had a great audience, the organist Dennis James fucking crushed it.

  An oracular sci-fi epic. Deserves to be called that. Also, these characters can all capture different moods for the rest of the year. The shimmer being the mood of re-invention. Something like that. Thinking about this again, easily makes my top 5 of the year. Wonder, melancholy sets in at the right moments, with such profoundness it makes sense why it hasn't left my mind. Really thankful for this one.
