  Truly, what is more American than killing and devouring your fellow man?

  At first I was kind of on the fence about this as a kind of gonzo horror-comedy with very basic Donner Party-esque bones, but around the halfway mark that twist dropped and I jumped fully onboard the frontier cannibalism train.
