I really wanted to like this movie, I did. 

It was slow paced and I wished for more exploration. Simply showing “journalists don’t get involved, remain neutral and cold amidst graphic violence chasing a story” isn’t groundbreaking. When there’s so much attention in this current world on the multiple genocides in various countries, I had wished for a bit more from it. Let me start off with the fact I could not get past the first 20 minutes of this film to save my life! It starts off with a crazy old man finding a literal alligator and deciding “hm, how can I use this innocent creature to make money?".
