Obviously this movie is not going to be a happy tale. Nor does it really even have a heartwarming ending. It is though, I think, a good representation of a true story. I liked this movie overall, which is surprising given how it began. Both acting and writing felt strange and dull at the outset. The first half of the movie, to be sure, was meant to be slow moving, but I think in this case the film bordered on unimaginative stagnation.
