Thoroughbreds Don't Cry 1937
First Judy and Mickey movie! And Judy’s first movie where she’s billed first.
As we all know, this starts the long line of films starring Judy and Mickey and it’s actually pretty different than most. She’s not in love with him and they’re not really friends. They’re kind of at odds at the beginning, with Judy’s Cricket thinking that Mickey’s Timmy is a “swellhead.”

Big Fat Liar 2002
I first saw this movie in the theater with my dad when I was 5 years old and over the years my family has turned it into a mainstay of our film canon. Instant classic, endlessly quotable, star turns by both Frankie Muniz and Amanda Bynes, a masterclass in comedy by Paul Giamatti. One of those wonderful children’s movies that also appeals to adults. So fun!
