  I wanted to see Anora but it wasn't playing during the time I had a babysitter so I had to watch this instead! It was exactly what I expected, meaning it's a boring hagiography without mention of any of the band's many many moral faults (read: Jimmy Page's pedophelia). The main takeaway for me was: Robert Plant was so hot. Why did I not know how hot he was?? You go 70s Robert Plant, in your little bellbottoms and sandals and open vest. I got a little tipsy off a hard kombucha so the evening was still pretty nice.

  Okay I think this is my favorite movie?! I’m sitting with the concept and it’s feeling correct. TRULY Nathan Lane is an icon in this. I love that Hank Azaria doesn’t know how to wear shoes. I love Robin Williams doing a fosse in palazzo pants. I love the tenderness and exasperation in this portrayal of a longterm relationship. I’ve seen this easily 50 times.
