Mickey 17 2025
I love Bong Joon Ho’s works, especially the layers upon layers of symbolism and metaphor. Mickey 17 was a slap in the face (in a good way) of commentary and symbolism, of satire and allegory. Everything was so apparent and it was eerie seeing during the times we are in.
It’s too bad a lot of people who absorb things only at surface level will see this as a “weird movie” and nothing more.

I’ve never been attracted to Tom Hanks…
…but when he’s an asshole who falls for his rival ‘90s AND he reads? I’m sat.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
THIS is the definition of camp. Every second was a blessing. However, hearing Cole Sprouse speak at the very end was a jumpscare. I will be talking about this movie until I catch fire in a tanning bed.
