  maybe relationships feel so colored by our insecurities and fears, what our parents have warned us about from their past, what we’ve seen. it prevents us from being completely vulnerable. 

  there’s something about being lost in a city and meeting a stranger that allows you to put down your guard.

  i like how he depicts how happiness can be found anywhere and how he captures real people. the screenplay is really captivating. you can judge people so easily by the look of their surface level circumstances, but that doesn’t completely capture the entirety of their lives. the children in this movie are amazing. sooo so cute.
