I love films that tackle big life issues in interesting and creative ways and this film absolutely does that. The fact that it manages to talk about issues like dementia, grief, loneliness and the cultish nature of religion and yet still have a hopeful and uplifting message is beyond me.

And don’t get me started on the animation! The miserableness and the stylistic choices make the film truly stand out. Adam Elliot has adopted this incredibly addictive visual…

The trailers promised a fun quirky romp with double the Pattinson and I guess it certainly delivered that, but in a way which I totally didn’t expect. This definitely isn’t the film I thought it was going to be but it didn’t detract from how good and solid the film actually is.

Mr Walliker is such a cutie patootie and he doesn’t even know it! On the other hand, Roxster is a handsome devil and he definitely fucking knows it!

And my response shall be “I wasn’t just there, it changed my life forever!”

Jack Whitehall used to be charming and a bit of a showman, but nowadays he sort of just sticks to his decade old posh boy shtick. A couple of decent quips here and there and a heartfelt moment of sincerity here and there, but overall an annoying watch and a bit of a snooze fest.

I try to not write reviews that are overly long but I am going to have to break my rule because I have a million things to say about this movie.

I have loved Spider-Man for a decade now ever since I started watching the previous films and he has to be my favourite superhero of all time. That being said I was a little anxious going into this film but I have to say that Jon Watts…
