  After watching the remake first, it makes me embarrassed of modern culture. This movie has so much more soul, rhythm, grit. Characters everywhere. Plays like a western. The doctor…ridiculously attractive. Old school Sam Elliott as wade garrett is the highlight for me

  Watched because of the Apple TV series. Some characters the same, some different. This one feels more presidential and Bush/Clinton era. I don’t like this Raymond Horgan. In contrast to gyllenhaal, ford feels like he carries weight and power but his situation never feels quite as dire. He has it together. Almost as if all the people involved don’t really believe he did it. Great watch.
