  Puts the original Blade Runner to shame, in my mind it wouldn’t be worth a watch had this film not been made. Blade Runner 2049 is beautiful to witness.   Brilliant in both execution and content, I believe State of Siege to be an incredibly important film. Tales of American meddling in South America tend to give me a uniquely melancholy feeling. I’d best describe it as watching something a blooming flower stomped on, plucked, and shoved in a box never to see the light of day again. I believe this describes the political reality of many South American projects of sovereignty that were crushed and hidden before they were able to viewed by the world.
