A little slow in parts but I like the writing and acting overall. The battle at the end is brutally realistic AND historically accurate which is neat.

Civil War 2024
While appreciating the comments about depicting the harsh reality of war I came away feeling like this was an empty movie.
This film was praised for its ambiguity but failed to tell a good story or make me feel attached to the characters.
I would have liked it more with slightly more information about the conflict or more action spread throughout.

I downloaded Letterboxd again to tell the world not to watch this horrendous pile of vomit.
If you’re going to make a comedy make it funny please.I have never tripped on acid but Taika Waititi probably has and his inspired vision was screaming goats and female cancer Thor.
Also if you want to destroy a franchise—push an agenda with formally likable characters.
The only redeeming parts were Russell Crowe (unexpected haha) and Christian Bale (brought a serious tone to an otherwise goofy movie)
