What an experience. This film is so charming, I had a huge smile on my face for most of it. The animation is great and I like how the camera is used. The writing is genuinely amazing with all the character these animals have. I like how a lot is left ambiguous. The scenes also have a great pace with each beat flowing well into the next. I didn’t even know how to feel by the end.

Really liked this. They do alot with the strange premise and explore it in an interesting and funny way. The writing and casting for the main character is great. While it's an aspect of it, I don't think the film is primarily about cancel culture, more so about celebrity in general as well as people who have become famous for something small and random (has a weird similarity to the hawk tuah girl. Ik how that sounds but think about…

12 Angry Men 1957
The writing is incredible. The plot is gripping and works because of how well realised the characters are. It’s a concept that is used to explore ideas of prejudice and emotions getting in the way of justice and it works perfectly through the use of well written dialogue and characterisation. I think it’s also paced in real time which I think was a good idea.

Only the River Flows 2023
A little disappointed by this. There were a few interesting elements but a lot of it just felt a bit underdeveloped and underwhelming. The mystery elements don’t really carry throughout the whole movie and after a bit it just feels like nothing is motivating the plot. I do like how it starts to make you question what you’re even seeing but this only begins a bit late into the film. I wasn’t really that invested in the main character either. I think this film could have been more interesting if they leant into the mystery more as well as the surreal aspects. The posters great tho.
