If Robert Eggers is great about one thing, is building a world that immerses you in it. This really captured the old film feeling: Everything is heightened to 11, really pulpy and novella-like, and everyone is on their A-Game really playing to their characters strengths. The costumes and sets were so gorgeous as well.

Perhaps I felt a bit disjointed in how they wanted to depict it so seriously while still trying to be campy at the same time. I…

What a beautiful movie, how you can use how animals can communicate and work together through tragedy without words. I love movies like this, where you don't need to speak a language to understand and feel those same emotions. It's wild how you could assign archetypes to every character in this, despite them just being animals.

The group was also handled well, and it's wild how quick the kills were. It was honestly very refreshing how it feels like they don't need to pull…

This movie is so full of vibes, I feel that it's an aesthetic masterpiece, paying homage to the 80's and 80's films, and if you're a fan of the franchise a lot of little Easter eggs from both movies will keep any fan of the trilogy satisfied.

I feel like this felt a bit flat pacing and writing wise. Maxine is written as this fully fleshed character that is so secure in herself that she is invincible. Which I get,…
