  I showed up at the party extremely late to The Fifth Element. Although, I am a Sci-Fi fan in general, somehow this film escaped me.

  The Fifth Element lives confidently in camp and owns it entirely. Bordering an almost wry and satirical approach, it veers away total mockery by being clear in what its strengths are.   This film is a beautiful example of how to weave subjectivity and perspective into performance and storytelling. Seemingly effortless, but so vividly detailed and considerate, Aftersun is a stunning piece.

Following
