  Is this as subversive as Priscilla?
  Not really.
  Are there some hilarious but also problematic jokes?
  Yep, and one of them is a Chappaquiddick reference.
  Do I enjoy the eff out of this movie?
  Absolutely.
  I don't know if Swayze, Snipes and Leguizamo enjoyed making this movie (I seem to remember all three were real terrors on set while trying to cope with being in drag.
  Also: I don't believe Vida could win that drag show. That's the biggest plot hole in the movie.

  I love this movie. I don't know why. Maybe it's Ewan's absurd sex appeal that can't be hidden behind a terrible American accent. maybe it's Rene and her roller coaster of a performance.

  Whatever it is, I can always come back to this one.

  This should be watched as part of a larger trilogy. The Deal, The Special Relationship & The Queen, all starring Michael Sheen as Tony Blair.
  This particular part of the trilogy focuses on Blair's early time as Prime Minister and Clinton's second term chaos around the Monica Lewinsky... Fiasco? Debacle? Tragedy maybe.
  The film covers Northern Ireland peace talks, Milosevich, and Clinton ultimately coming to terms with his scandal's fallout.
