I can’t even think about the movie yet, because I’m still processing Chalamet’s performance. He’s so absolutely astounding in the role. As someone that does not consider themselves a Bob Dylan fan, I think Chalamet really captures the mystery of what I imagine people love about him. The music all sounds so good. More people should be talking about Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez because she’s as hypnotic as Chalamet.

Not necessary by any means, and I wish it had been a stronger entry point for this sort of movie. It’s fun to see this sort of take on the material, though.

Worth all the hype. This movie is designed within an inch of its life and I’m here for every second of it. Fantastic performances all around, and completely watchable until the last frame.

Close quarters WWII naval battle flick with great performances, and a pace that never quits. The details of how ships of that time functioned was fascinating.
