Extremely harrowing experience. I’ve been struggling lately with finding the language to express even the simplest thoughts but for now I just want to say that the things this movie does with a camera fill me with so much inspiration and adoration and love for the craft. Digital is fresh and alive and nobody is ever going to use this format to make guys spin around on bluescreen sets.

When I hear a catchy new pop song I usually don't kill myself, but that's just me I guess. I would have loved to see this in somebody else's hands because it almost feels like an accident how good it is. A little bit fumbled here and there but a little bit too beautiful to care.

This is a fun inversion of the machinima format. Less formally structured than something like War of the Servers or even Red vs. Blue, partly due to the documentary format and partly due to being a little bit of a disjointed hectic production altogether. Seeing this again in a crowd of trannies and freaks was so special. I can’t talk enough about how much I love this movie and I can’t wait for the rest. I can’t wait to make all those Velvet Underground ripoffs Louise and Vera talked about after the screening, I am going to be insufferable and relish every second. Art and storytelling fill me with so much warmth every single day.
