I’m really sad to say that this was a let down. Although it could be a cute children’s movie, it really missed the mark when it came to building layers onto Roald Dahl‘s story. It really felt like the writers for the movie never even read any of the books or even the original movie that this movie is based upon. There is an absurdity to almost all of the characters in the movie that just strayed so far away…
