It's fine and i know it's a tad unfair of me to expect this to be a subversive and thought provoking auteur piece, that has been unfairly maligned by contemporary critics, but i was a bit disappointed. The historical context, and the characters (except of Andrien Brody's) had been drawn up in the broadest of strokes, i genuinely don't understand why they'd even bother.
