such a good movie, don’t get the hate. not as good as get out but nothing good beat that for me. the scene with OJ riding with the horse and being chased by the ‘thing’ was so incredible to me. also love the idea that it could be a biblical accurate angel, either a fallen angel or not, but that lines up really well with the line ‘what’s the opposite of a miracle’ and gob’s obsession with the concept of up above and the unknown after his traumatic experience as a coping mechanism.

Very slowly getting into watching horror films/ writing short horror films and this was incredible, loved all of the sound in it especially the endless cry/scream over those 3 different shots and the smaller details that you have to rewatch to see. Loved it

It was alright. I mean it was good but I feel like with a budget and cast like this and CGI where it is in the world it felt quite underwhelming. Also the acting and here and there, and for a British person Milly Bobby Brown's accent could use some work (yes I'm British). Also too many zoom ins and long shots of the same thing, girls about to die, idk why she's moving so slow. The idea has loads of potential but it doesn't feel like much effort was put in.
