i feel like i should like this movie cus it’s artsy. but maybe too it’s artsy. i love the message; even if it isn’t explicitly mentioned. he doesn’t live as his true self. he’s always the side character in other people’s stories. and he inevitably succumbs to the fear, rather than pushing through it so he can live authentically. i guess it’s just crazy to watch a movie that doesn’t have a happy ending. and crazy how slow it was
