bleak and uncompromising 😔 i know there is a divide over whether Kent is attempting to equate the trauma of one white woman with the trauma of an entire indigenous population but i think she demonstrates the extremely violent process of colonialism through suggesting that both experiences are traumatic but not necessarily equally?
