This film has so much potential; the actors are brilliant and it is beautifully crafted. However, it really falls short when it comes to the pacing; it's a mess. I found a lot of scenes dragged for way too long and it was honestly quite boring at times. Also, the frame narrative felt rather unimaginative and underdeveloped. All this aside, it's a somewhat promising film made by obviously talented people.

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
This film is absolutely stunning in terms of cinematography, every shot is absolutely gorgeous and creates such a strong dream-like atmosphere. The characters are well written and acted too; the two leads contrast each other very well. I didn't love this film as much as I thought as it felt a bit too slow in some places, but for the most part this is an amazing film!

I understand how it was influential, but unfortunately this film wasn't doing anything for me and was very much a product of it's time.
