Evil nurses are a terrifying concept but unlike movies like Fargo, this is a real story. I'm not ripping on Fargo. I'm just saying this is a true story. I can't wait to read the book to see how honest it was to the true story of this man.
As for the movie, I thought the characters were interesting but I felt something was missing. Maybe it's the lack of justice for those who were complicit. Probably that

I remember when this movie opened in 2017 and I was so excited to see it. I was thoroughly disappointed it wasn't a shot for shot remake of the animated movie. Given the space of 8 years, I have a different perspective. Well... I would have been excited for a shot for shot remake.
There are a few complaints from my original viewing that stood the test of time. First and foremost, Emma Watson does not have the singing voice…
This is a testament to the idea "if you didn't put it on Letterboxd, did you even watch the movie?" For roughly half of this movie, I was going along, thinking perhaps I knew too many facts about Ted Bundy because it seemed like I knew the story so well. I have seen this movie before.
I like the fact that this story focused on Liz and how the relationship with Ted affected her and her life. It makes you sad for her, but I forgot I watched this movie. I wish it was more memorable.

James let me pick the light hearted movie and I chose the gay Pride and Prejudice. I laughed a little bit, but overall, this movie lost me at a certain point. The characters were cute. The romances were cute. Were we perhaps too casual about rape and revenge porn? I would say so.
