Vapid and gross. So stylized and basically had no substance at all. One star for the aesthetic. Kind of hinted at important themes without delving into anything really and the scene at the end was kind of obvious. Nell and I actually spend money on this but it was still fun. Great to talk about on the way home but I feel like my eyes need a shower after that

Halloween review!! 

Scariest film I’ve ever watched. Had to grip onto the edge of my chair to keep me from falling over. Terrifying. Should be 21+ but beetle juice is hot…

Sultry, seductive and selfish. Everything a vampire should be. Definitely slow burning but I watched this yesterday and halfway through it again. I love this film!!

Bill Gunn was able to deliver so many emotions through single monologues, which are insightful and clear but also descriptive and poetic. He managed to pair those words with such beautiful scenery!! Also the motif played whenever a kill was about to happen was so haunting.
