This film is probably a masterpiece love letter if you have the intelligence of a wet sponge. It is so desperate to make the audience laugh with its 'how do you do, fellow kids?' humour.   An over-indulgent and insulting film. The attempts at sympathy for the Nazi family are ridiculous when it results in disrespecting those who died. The creators were so heavily focused on emotional impact that it has the complete opposite effect of what they were trying to do.

  It attempts to show the atrocities of the Holocaust from witnessing it from the eyes of a child. The result is that it's teaching the audience that all Jews were duped into concentration camps…
