The Substance 2024
literally had me holding my stomach and laughing while also providing me the perfect amount of Gore, from the comedic pacing to the uncomfortable hurtful truth telling scenes the movie was very unpredictable, for me is rare. There were times where I found myself relating to the characters. To wanting to chose between themselves and having control, The female experience is all performative, competitive, but at times very sincere and this movie captured it perfectly
