kwl sets and costume designs, great performances (esp. Depp) but I felt it was lacking something. felt kinda bored from about halfway through. I think the psychosexual themes should have been played up way more - I’ve never seen a Dracula movie or read the book, but to me what could have been really interesting is the question of how much of Depp’s obsession with Nosferatu is because of possession vs some repressed hyper-sexuality that genuinely comes from her.
