Glass Onion 2022
The production design is gorgeous, the costuming is delightful, but the characters are boring and Benoit Blanc is given way too much dialog. Watching Daniel Craig act that much was painful. Janelle Monae, however, was excellent.

This is another case of a film winning awards because the people voting didn't want to admit they didn't get it. If it wanted to be a commentary on the uselessness of the wealthy, it could have stuck to the restaurant, auditions, and yacht or stuck to the shipwreck storyline. Combining them dilutes much of the messaging, shifting from "look at these people's decadence" to "women will objectify men just as much if given the chance to govern society."
