So, I was nervous about watching this movie because I loved the first one so much, and I’d heard this was more of a comedy—but with the same actor. Man, I was wrong to doubt it. This was awesome—funny, and dope as hell.
Gordon Liu absolutely kills it, but this time he shines on the comedy side. Still, the martial arts scenes are incredible, and the development is quite entertaining.
It’s obviously not as good as the first movie, and it’s definitely not a sequel, but you’ll have a blast watching it. It’s a solid kung fu comedy all the way through.
