This would be an excellent movie if the modern day archive fiction part was cut out entirely and the film instead focused on the experimental archival presentation, the bathhouse/archive scenes, and the interviews. The fiction narrative element was so lacking and on the nose. I care so much less about the lackluster acting maybe aids hookup thing when a real person with aids is on the screen also.
