Avatar: The Way of Water 2022
Cliche action story with the facade of something unique and original. Most of the plot is pushed forwards by a father’s pride, one of the most exhausting tricks in the book. Largely fails to fulfill any potential that may be present in the worldbuilding because it wants to be an exciting action flick so badly. Plus it’s definitely racist in ways that are better explained by people other than me. I hope global warming takes us all before James Cameron has the chance to release another one of these.
