To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Space Jam: A New Legacy. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. Bumblebee 2018
While not perfect, Bumblebee is a triumph when you compare it to every other Transformers movie to come out. It feels so good to give one of these movies something above a 3/5. It's so similar to so many movies about a kid befriending an alien, and yet Bumblebee just works. It's charming, funny, has great action and character beats, and just has this feel of childlike wonder to it that's it's impossible to not have fun with it, and for the first time in probably forever, it actually leaves me excited for the next movie. Godspeed Bumblebee, you mad lad.
