A masterful performance from Ralph Fiennes in this beautifully subtle political drama. So many little things I picked up on, which makes me think I did not pick up on everything, and this film requires more than one watch. The way it deals with God and providence is also brilliant.
The ending was strange. I understand why it ended that way, and it does not affect my rating, but it was odd, nonetheless. Would recommend!
