Booksmart 2019
i have no words for this film!!! every single scene was captivating and while i didn't have the exact experience they had with partying back in high school, i really resonated with their story. they were able to tell it in the most honest way possible without being pretentious about it which is especially shown in the ending of the film.
i guess we have completed the trifecta of the best coming of age movies this decade: eighth grade, lady bird, and booksmart
