  One can understand this film as an imitation, an attempt to capitalize on the "Star Wars" craze (as most seem to do), or see it as an outright parody of it. From the soundtrack to the idea of the chosen one (this time the chosen nobody lives on a trailer park instead of some desertic border planet), the film cleverly makes innocent fun of all the more outlandish aspects of space operas.
